Online comics

This comic just caught me hook, line, and sinker (at the time I was drinking like a fish) from the very start. I just love all the characters, and Casey obviously puts a lot of effort into the comic and its background. And it's funny too, no matter what the creator may say!

I used to consider myself an angry liberal (just trust me on this one, I am), but Patrick Cheng has me beat in spades judging by his adept treatment of serious subject matter. His characters are realistic and his stories are fascinating, forthright, and unapologetic.

Record Labels I Don't Hate

Epitaph Records Epitaph is a damn good punk record label that carries all kinds of shit. Take a look at their free mp3 downloads by browsing bands' albums-- there's lots of good stuff there.

Alternative Tentacles Records This is Jello Biafra's record label. He's the former front man for the Dead Kennedys, and his label carries all kinds of shit, from great punk bands to spoken word CDs from the likes of Noam Chomski and Howard Zinn. And there's plenty of free downloads...

Fat Wreck Chords This is NOFX's Fat Mike's label. Again, there's lots of good stuff here, some of it free, and of course there are the Rock Against Bush albums...
