Character Bios

Here you can learn a little background about all the main characters doomed to live out their lives in my comic.

	Eric McConnell’s nonchalance is near legendary. Able to handle most any situation (save for spontaneous combustion or a near miss at a world record) with a straight face and steady nerve, he adds a level of comfort to the room. His highly mutable personality makes him enemy to few and though he may seem lax, he is unwaveringly dependable through even the most hopeless situations. He has a near encyclopedic knowledge of music as well as a firm grasp on other scholarly subjects. Patricia Hearn had been his friend in school, and he has long harbored feelings for her, yet he never shows them. 	Patricia Hearn is one of the most congenial people you’d ever hope to meet. She has a pleasant disposition and always makes a point of being nice. Politics have always intrigued her, however, and she is an excellent debater, knowing much and feeling strongly about many controversial subjects. Like all political types, she is a closet nymphomaniac and has a habit of buying bizarre pornography from the local comic and video shop. She is greatly attracted to Kevin Patton even though she knows he is gay, and when she is around him her inhibition virtually drops to zero. Moving to a small town gives her the opportunity to plan a political career as she can start small and work her way up. The cost of living is much lower as well, which leaves her extra funds for political ventures as well as porn. 	Kevin Patton is a master at never taking things seriously. Quick with witty remarks and having no shame, he livens up any party, wedding, or funeral he attends. Some call him irresponsible, but others who know him better see a kind, caring side beneath the flippant exterior. He has a strong physical attraction to the straight Eric McConnell, though it is tempered by his concern for their platonic relations. Watching television and playing video games are his favorite ways to spend leisure time. Interested in working as a sidekick for an online comic, he moved into town after being the only acceptable applicant. 	Gwynth Weiland loves to be the center of attention, but many regard her as a walking joke. She has great difficulty persuading others that she’s not a dimwit due to her blonde hair, sinuous physique, and avian physiognomy. She has, however, learned to use this to her advantage. Few play poker or billiards as well as she, and over the years she has made a decent living off winning bets and playing professionally. Gwynth is neither a bad loser nor a bad winner, and she accepts all outcomes in stride, though she often uses her feminine wiles to gain the upper hand. Someday she hopes to find a companion who is not just interested in her body. Having been mocked one too many times in the city, she turns to a smaller town hoping to find tranquility. 	I don't know who this guy is, but his eyes aren't as psychotic and scary as they are in real life.
